B. Children who know Jesus personally and have a clear understanding of baptism.
With regard to young children:
At Life Church, we encourage children to wait until they are 9 years of age or older before being baptized. At this age they are developmentally able to understand the symbolism of baptism and the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus.
We do encourage parents to bring their young children before the Lord and their community in a prayer of dedication. This is intended to be covenant between the parents and God on the behalf of the child. The parents promise to raise their child in the faith until the child is old enough to make a personal decision for Christ. The church family agrees to pray for and care for the child within the church family.
